Angela Anaconda - Season 1 Episode 21 Labor Pains / Cyrano D'Angela
Labor Pains Angela learns that everyone receives a higher allowance then she does. Her friends explain that in order to get more money Angela must do more work around the house. With great determination, and much to the surprise of her family, Angela does extra chores without being asked. At allowance time, Angela is only awarded with an extra fifty cents! Gina, being quite knowledgeable in labor relations, suggests that she go on strike. Angela enlists the help of her friends and they picket the Anaconda house, but the strike fails miserably. Angela's parents don't take it seriously, her brother's become scabs and even Gina crosses the picket line. Just when Angela has had enough she notices her parents handing Gina money! The anger quickly dissolves though when Gina reveals she successfully negotiated Angela a new allowance contract, complete with pay raise! Cyrano D'Angela Angela happens upon Gordy, who is in a funk because Gina has a new boyfriend and it isn't him. Her heart seemingly belongs to Jimmy Jamal. Angela is quick to volunteer herself as matchmaker. She sets Gordy off on various schemes designed to win Gina's favour, but each of Gordy's prove unsuccessful. All hope seems lost until Angela discovers that Gina and Jimmy's affair is based on...Jimmy's lunch! Angela convinces Gordy that the only thing left to do is to tell Gina how he really feels. Gina informs them both that love and lunch are the same thing and nobody brings yummier food to school then Jimmy. Gina's love for Jimmy is here to stay. Angela is filled with guilt. None of her advice has worked and Gordy is probably destined to a life of solitude. Luckily, Gina learns an awful truth-Jimmy doesn't like dessert. Angela reminds Gina that Gordy loves desserts and the two unrequited lovers find their way to a comfy place to eat.
